How to identify and remove malicious links in the template code?

I downloaded the template, but I want to modify it a lot. I read a lot that the template code can contain malicious links, which interferes with search engine optimization. How to identify such links at first glance, in order to get rid of them and not to mess up in the code itself?

Ideally, you need to check everything with handles and you need to look at js, crap often hides there

Quite difficult, since there are a whole bunch of ways to inject malicious code, and without the necessary knowledge, it will be difficult. The easiest way is not to download the template, but to buy it. According to statistics, 95% of "frivolous" themes contain various kinds of shit code.
