How to identify a function that loads the CPU?

There is a project on Delphi, everything works well, but the CPU load is tormenting (at the same time, 50% eats when the program does not work, and 25% when it works, interesting). I am looking for tools that would help identify the culprit of the download, manuals, personal experience.
