How to hide system files on Windows 10 desktop?

Tell me, please, is it possible to hide the desktop.ini system files on the desktop when the "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" option is disabled in the folder properties?
I want system files to be shown in Explorer, and the Desktop was clean, without any shortcuts and files, except for the Recycle Bin.

Do not use Explorer to view hidden files . And check the box back, as recommended.

Do not open the desktop in the explorer and everything will be fine.

Hide protected operating system files

hides files in explorer. And this works for all folders opened in Explorer, including the "Desktop" folder.
