How to hide part of an image and make the rest a background?

Hello!
In general, there is a logo and it goes to the menu, here is a screenshot prntscr.com/29ctr7
And it turns out that we cannot click on the bottom area of the two buttons. Is it possible to somehow hide part of the logo, and make the rest the background for the top menu?

1. cut off half of the head and place it as a separate picture on top of the menu.
2. make the menu two-layered - below the background, above the text, between them - a picture

Depends on layout. You can set the position of the logo to absolute and set the z-index to be less than that of the menu block.

I can honestly say that it won't end well.
yes, there are several ways to do this without cutting the picture, but I don’t even want to describe them - it’s long and unreliable.
if the builder was positioned at least to the left...
...and if you wanted to drop-down the menu, there would be problems again.
remove the negative margin, let the logo not pop out on the menu. design will only get better
