How to hide Linux from OS boot list?

The other day, the question began to spin very hard in my head, is it possible to hide linux from the list of downloads (there is also Windows on the computer), and then boot from a USB flash drive? Well, or something else. Googling didn't turn up anything special. Either because the hands are crooked, or for some other reason. Maybe someone will have some ideas?

When installing linux, we poke the flash into the computer, when it asks where to put the bootloader, we say that it is on the flash drive.
If the linux is already installed, then we put the bootloader on the flash drive and then restore its native bootloader with Windows.
When necessary, we poke the flash into the laptop, boot from it.

Brrrr .... What do you want to do?
If you want to change something in the grub loader, then you need to open /etc/default/grub. All settings are stored here. And depending on what you want (hide\remove\change\do not load\change default os) change the value in the desired line. Then sudo update-grub. Or the same through grub-customizer.
And the choice from which disk (usb \ linux \ win) to load through the BIOS. Each has its own bootloader.
