How to hide files with a specific extension by default in windows?
Hi all! I didn’t think that I would run into this :))
some software, working, creates its own files next to the original ones.
suppose file .qweasd
is there some way to force windows to hide such files by default?

There is one question in the title and another in the description. What do you end up needing? Hide the file extension or hide the file itself? If you hide a file, then only manually check the "Hidden" box in the file properties. You will not do anything automatically, because the system does not understand which files to hide automatically and which not.
In theory, if you need to hide files in some folder or you know the extension, then you can write a PowerShell script that will scan the folder for files with a given extension and check the "hidden" box in the file properties. But again, this is only in theory.
