How to hide external ip from application?

There is an application, it is necessary that it does not see the real ip in any way, but only sees the proxy.
Is it possible somehow, for example, for an lxc container to make eth0 exit not through the main network card, but through a proxy? If not, what is the best way to do it?

In LXD, make a virtual bridge network and it will not see anything.

if the application cannot work with a proxy
, use proxifiers (proxychains, tsocks) and socks proxies
