You need to hide, just hide, not delete, the names of bookmarks on the panel under the address bar. Bookmarks are synchronized with Safari, because of which the names are incorrectly displayed in it if they are missing, and if they are registered, then Chrome does not have enough space on the panel and they are transferred. Terribly annoying.
Maybe there is some kind of extension or something in the flags. Google didn't answer. Any ideas?

Right-click on the panel, and uncheck "show the bookmarks bar".
And the "panel" leans differently .
