How to hash, encode regular data in symphony?

You can dig and see how the hashing and password components of
PasswordHasherEncoder
PasswordHasherInterface
SodiumPasswordHasher work,

but all this hashes irrevocably.

What about encrypt / decrypt?
Is there an analogue of the functionality https://github.com/defuse/php-encryption only inside symphony packages so that it can be reused without installing an additional package?
