How can I find out the password from a Wi-Fi network? I heard that you can somehow steal the packages and find out the password through them, but can you tell me more? How do Wi-Fi networks get hacked and what is needed for this?

It all depends on what you will break, or rather what technology. WPA, WPA2-PSK, WPS, WPE.
Optimal set of tools:
HP 15-ba102ur laptop (Rtl8724be chip - weak chip)
USB Wi-Fi TP-Link 821n rev 4.0 (Rtl8192cu chip) or take the 722 model - there is an external antenna.
USB Flash 8Gb (we burn the Kali Linux image - we will run it in live cd mode).

In kali linux, all the tools are already assembled. To search for keys from WPA, WPA2-PSK, WPE packages use aircrack-ng (it has a lot of tools), and for WPS - reaver or wifite.
And do not forget about the problems with Articles 272-274 and 137-138 of the Criminal Code. If it is possible to get access to the router's admin, we clean the logs.
