How to give CNC look to links in WordPress menu?
Hey! People, please tell me how to make links look like CNC on the site. THREE WAYS that are described on the network do not help. Adding a line to HTACCESS does not help. Nothing happens. Installing plugins - the word category is removed from the link, but this creates a new address. As I understand it, WordPress starts to perceive the rubric as a page, so it does not display posts for the rubric on the page. The same thing happens when I set a point in the settings in the prefix. Help to understand please. There is an assumption that you need to display a rubric on the page somehow? but somehow this is not entirely true, as it seems to me.
PS: maybe you shouldn't bother so much, is the presence of the word category for SEO in links so important??

1. try adding a category to the menu after installing the plugin that removes the prefix.
2. most likely the category will be available on two URLs: with and without a prefix
3. change the category to another word in the site settings, for example, shop is suitable for a store, blog for a blog, etc.
