How to get unread messages (VK, Python)?

Is it possible to somehow get unread messages using VK_API, and Python. I searched in the methods, I did not find anything. Does anyone know what to use?

(1 << 12) Access to advanced methods for working with messages (only for Moderated Standalone applications).
I think if you passed the moderation - such questions would not arise
