Good afternoon, I often encounter this problem. That's kind of the norm png pots on the background

But when converting an element into a smart object, I see that it still has a lot of unnecessary background (the picture is completely on a white background)

The designer somehow hides their backgrounds, are there any painless ways to pull out such images? it's sad to cut them out with your hands, because there are complex shadows, leaves, etc.
