Many people know about sites to which you can feed a file and immediately get the result of a scan by popular antiviruses.
How do these sites get the scan result, since antiviruses do not have their own API?
It is necessary that my program be running on the workstation, which would merge the result of checking some files into the Internet. Advise the approach, please.

Casper definitely has a solution for mail servers that works exactly according to this principle - the daemon spins, receives a file as input, and returns a return code. See Casper's solution for servers - it's certainly clumsy, but it works.
