How to get the randombytes package to work?

Installed the randombytes package .
It required buffer to be set . Installed.
Now writes:

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: (0 , randombytes__WEBPACK_IMPORTED_MODULE_1__.randomBytes) is not a function

What am I doing wrong besides wanting to use this package?
