How to get the name of the song that is currently playing from the playlist (pls, m3u)?
After digging into the protocol of icecast audio streams, I found information that when accessing the station, the "icy-metaint" header will return
, it contains the number of bytes, they need to be received and encoded and we will get the title.
But in the title, I get only the name of the radio station.
(For example , Chillout will return
here)
I would think "OK, so the stream does not return the name of the current playing"
BUT!
Having tried to drive the playlist into iTunes, he immediately told me the name of the current playing track.
And then the question arose: does iTunes additionally use some of its technology for recognizing audio tracks like Shazam, or am I digging in the wrong place in terms of titles and getting the title?
