How to get started with C++?
Good day.
There was a desire to delve into C ++. I do not pursue any practical goal, rather, to keep the brain in good shape.
But I ran into a beginner's problem, where to start? :)
There are tons of literature, I took up one book, the material there implies that I am sitting under MSDOS, the other is written in some completely inhuman language, the third suggests that I already have programming skills.
I have junior PHP and JS :)
I ask for advice, is there any book that will allow me to delve into the essence of C ++ from scratch, in modern realities?
I would be grateful if you share your experience.

In general, it's time to be able to use the search:
Books and educational resources on C ++
It is necessary to put into practice, empty reading of books will not help.
Write Tetris in SDL or develop for MK, you can even start with Arduino.
From practice. Until you start writing, you won't start googling. If you don't start googling, you won't understand what you're doing.
Hey! Youtube has a cool channel called Simple Code. There is a very intelligible person explains everything. I had enough of his vids on the pros for the whole year and the resource has not yet been exhausted. Then after these videos, you can move on to solving problems. In my case, these are C ++ courses from Yandex and Phystech on the Coursera website. Good luck!
