How to get ssh key?

Everything is described in detail here , but I can't figure out what the passphrase is? It's clear that it's a password, but how does it differ from password?
What to enter there?

This is the password for your key. Enter whatever you want. You can not enter it and then the key will be used without a password.
The difference is that you do not need to use the password from GitHub, but only the password from the key (and if you enter it when creating the key, you can do without it).
