How to get rid of USB short circuit on the motherboard?
There is an ASUS P8H61-M motherboard with broken USB on the main port panel. There are 5 inputs (2 USB and 2 USB + Ethernet).
On the second group, there is a short circuit along the D + line, when any devices are connected, the motherboard freezes.
Is there any way to get rid of one port in favor of another?

see if there are protection diodes along the lines D + D- to ground. if they are alive then change the hub (H61).
I remember in the past, they treated this matter by burning it, by discharging a vigorous capacitor, for example.
The pierced transition from this was supposed to physically collapse, sometimes it did, but they say not everyone was lucky, and I'm not sure if this can be done now ...
No. Since all ports are controlled by a USB hub. Install the USB board.
