How to get rid of jumpy icons in mac osx dock?
For the love of all that is holy, tell me how to make it so that after the completion of any action, the corresponding icon in the dock would just continue to be there, and not jump higher and higher, in every possible way attracting distracting attention.
PS Is it just me that brings me out like that?

Isn't there a flag "disable icon animation" in the Dock panel settings? I remember at 10.6 I found such people, but I think those who get annoyed are a minority. When you work on a project, you don't think about icons. Over the years of being a student and living in a hostel, I got used to working with the included TV series / objectionable music / fun company, apparently the skill has developed.
I have been using a poppy for a long time and the icons jump very rarely, this behavior in most cases is predictably similar to a modal window.
