How to get rid of automatic tab refresh in Chrome?

Recently, the browser began to reload the tab. That is, I opened the tabs, then bam you click on some old open one and it doesn’t just open it, but updates it (preloads it) as if I clicked Update it.
It’s just that some kind of trouble watched a movie, Vkontakte went to sit, returned to the movie tab, and he updates it and reloads the movie again and looks for where he stopped.
How to get rid of it?

I see this kind of stuff all the time too. However, it does not bother me, but maybe it's some kind of feature to optimize memory consumption. Try disabling the "Enable tab discarding" checkbox in chrome://flags

Maybe some extension works wonders? Try turning them all off and then on one at a time. As a quick option, you can open a couple of tabs in incognito and see how they behave
