How to get LibreOffice Writer to run on Debian 9?

Recently installed Debian 9. LibreOffice and all other Impress tools, Calc etc. except Writer run quietly. Writer launches the launch window and then crashes. It won't run as root. What do you advise?

found this solution:

apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-wiki-publisher
apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-nlpsolver
