How to get hooked on Upwork?

Registered on UPWORK for over a year now. Recently, I began to intensively look for work there as an HTML layout designer. Profile completed. Over the past month, I responded to more than 6 vacancies, while dumping their price tag. But not a single response from employers. What am I doing wrong?
