How to get element id via uiautomatorviewer for Andoid Api version 17 and below?

I understand the automation of Android application testing through Appium. I write my own tests in Eclipse. Device: Lenovo A526 Andoid 4.2.2 (Api v17). Initially, when everything was set up, finding the Element by Id worked. The search was carried out through the uiautomatorviewer utility from the Android SDK. On these ID also it was fastened in tests. After the weekend, a miracle happened - uiautomatorviewer stopped seeing element IDs and previously working tests stopped working. A Google search gives only 1 answer - searching for Elements by ID only works with Api 18+ (Android 4.3), but everything worked for me. I would be grateful for any hint.
