How to get data from one drupal module in another?

There are two modules. The first one has a table rendered with js (dojo) and a button. On clicking the button, a post request with two arguments should be sent to the second module. By itself, the second module processes some data and displays an associative array, which is the result of its work. The question is, how can I get this array in the first module by clicking on the button and display its values ​​in a table? I'm new to module building for Drupal, so sorry if this is a stupid question :))
