How to get android state information remotely?
I have a smartphone that I use as a modem, I would like to be able to remotely control it and be able to receive information about the level of charging, on / off distribution, mobile Internet,
etc. distribution. But here is the problem with feedback. You can't call or send SMS from the installed SIM card.
I know that there are all sorts of Android Monitor or AirDroid, but they are too heavy for smart and they require constant work, which is not very good. I would like to come up with my own scooter, simple as a stick and performing the necessary tasks.
Does anyone have experience or ideas? I would be grateful for any lead.

In principle, you can write your application using Android Studio and interact with Heroku or Aamazon AWS to send requests.
In fact, there will be an application installed on a smartphone / modem from which you need to take information and an application is installed on a smartphone to which information will come.
Scheme: go to your application on a personal android and request the necessary information about the modem system --> then the request from the application goes to the Heroku or AWS cloud, then it is sent to the smartphone / modem and takes the necessary information. --> further the answer passes a chain on the contrary.
But this implementation is more suitable for larger projects.
You can make remote access to the terminal via SSH and optionally turn it into a VPN.
