How to get access to the model sent by the controller from layouts/column2.php in yii?

Can you suggest how to access the model sent to the view template from the controller in the layout/column2.php file ? For some reason, I managed to do this only in product/item.php (controller/action)
Controller - ProductController
Action - actionItem
