How to get a bank card number through a magnetic reader?

Khabrovchane, actually a subject. I can't find an answer on the internet.

There is a card reader that can read all 3 tracks of a magnetic card. The number and expiration date of the card is stored on the 2nd track - this is known to many.

Everyone says differently that the number is not stored in encrypted form, others say the opposite.

Maybe you know how to get a number?

ps The rest of the information is not important. The number is needed for identification in the database.

Thanks in advance!

It should be noted that 90% of international payment systems use magnetic stripe cards. I will dwell on them in more detail. The magnetic strip is located at a distance of 5.5 mm from the top edge of the reverse side of the card and may contain 2-3 tracks. The bandwidth depends on the number of tracks and is 6.4 mm for two tracks and 10.3 mm for three. As you understand, all the information necessary for financial transactions is located on the magnetic stripe.
Now consider each of the three tracks. The first track includes alphanumeric information. It can hold up to 79 characters. The track contains the following data:
identification number - up to 19 digits;
country code - 3 digits;
Full name of the cardholder (cardholder) - from two to 26 characters;
Expire Date (card expiration date) - 4 digits;
service code - 3 digits;
issuer's information - remaining digits.
The second track contains only digital information encoded in binary coded decimal code. A track can have up to 39 characters in total. The second track duplicates the information of the first, with the exception of cardholder data.

Take your card and read your/mother's/daddy's/grandmother's card, immediately compare the result

I used HyperTerminal to work with my card reader (via COM port).
Try something like this.
