How to gain experience as a beginner C# programmer?

I study programming on my own, on the Internet. I studied many aspects of C #, patterns, SQL. Now forms. Of course, I do all sorts of problems there. But I want to try my hand at something more serious, to see how they work on such tasks, and gain experience subsequent employment. Who can advise what? Remote work, freelancing, some projects online, writing my own software. I can even work for free. The main thing for me is experience, and meeting other colleagues. Suitable because I'm still studying and I live in a small town.

You can join an open source project and start with any task. This contribution is also appreciated when applying for a job.

Don't listen to people telling you to do things with WCF. Throw out Windows Forms and learn something useful

Fifteen years ago, everyone in the district was worse off with money, so combining study and work was a matter of course. It is amazing that now it has become easier to study, and it is more difficult to combine study and work.
Although, nevertheless, I constantly meet those who succeed quite successfully.
If this is absolutely not your case, look towards internships or summer practices of large companies.
And you will light up with personnel officers, and you will communicate with more experienced colleagues.

Make sites like this - https://chsakell.com/2015/08/23/building-single-pa...
Only on the new JS framework.
Try to complete the test tasks that are issued, they can be found on the network.
1) Make a ticket booking website for XXX.
2) Make a WCF server-client chat application or something similar.
3) Make an analogue of the social network, with a minimum of functionality.
Take the course https://programmingwithmosh.com/become-a-full-stac... (you can download it). Here from zero to application standards.
Many other things at https://programmingwithmosh.com/courses/
After that, most companies will quietly take a junior.

I wrote about my version in the comments . Your own business is always better than working for Uncle Vasya.
