How to freeze a site/project?
There is a site - a failed startup. The engine, and everything in general, is written from scratch. 75,000 pages, mostly text and images. At the moment, we decided to freeze the project for an indefinite period, until better times. Serviced. Before shutting down, somehow copy it all and put it in a safe place.
I assumed that this was done simply - you pull the switch on the hosting and the site is no longer there.
It turned out that everything seems to be not so simple. The question is how to do everything right?

1. Save the database dump.
2. Add all static files to the archive.
3. Save 1), 2) to your computer.
4. In place of the site, we make a stub like "Blah blah blah, we closed. If anything, write to [email protected]"
Or ask the hoster to help with this.
Or have I misunderstood something and it's much more complicated?
dump on the cheapest hosting and let it work until better times so as not to fall out of the search engines
It would also be nice to sketch instructions with screenshots on how to restore, if anything. Will restore - rejoice at every note.
Yandex, Google disk, it is better to pour copies there in the form of an archive, since almost everywhere there are 10 gigs for free.
