How to format microSD in Lenovo smartphone?

The smartphone has a 2GB card, it reads normally, but the Eject and Format items in the Settings-> Memory section are inactive. Why can this be?

Maybe the card is blocked, try formatting via PC

I have never formatted cards in my phone, but have you tried going to Settings -> Storage and clicking "Unmount SD card" there?
What happens after that?
If the card unmounts and remains visible, try the format.
If it does not unmount, then see what Android says about this.
