How to form iframe via javascript in chrome app?

I am writing an extension, there is an iframe in the popup:

<iframe  width="800px" height="515px" src="http://path" frameborder="0"></iframe>

So... when you click on the extension in chrome - it waits 3-5 seconds (loads the iframe) and only then shows the popup. How can I make the download timeout or optimize for the chrome store?
