How to force Google Chrome to update from local server?

I have group policy deployed chrome to all users, and everything would be fine, but it is updated from Google servers. It would be great if it pulled updates from an internal server, similar to WSUS, but how to fool Google?

Find the url where the program crashes. If it is a completely unique domain, then add an entry to hosts that this name lies at this ip address.
If the solution does not work, then change the DNS records so that this particular domain has a different IP.

If you really need to update it from a local server, then you can disable client updates, download the entire distribution kit to a local server on a schedule and deploy Chrome from it over existing installations.

In group policy, disable chrome updates. When a new version is released, download the msi package and set the same group policy.

In general, there is no way, for the reason that there is no config for this, no one will give you an update in the clear, and whether you need to keep track of them yourself.
Although I’m not lying, there is a perverted way):
1 sniff the protocol for chrome interaction with update servers
2 learn how to replace these updates with chrome
3 proxy traffic for updates to a local server
4 profit
well, actually the question is, what did it prevent you from? small files of differences are downloaded there and no more on Habré, there is even an article about this, but I didn’t find it (
In general, you can assemble Chromium for yourself and not worry)
