How to forbid deleting a folder, but allow changing files in it?
Good afternoon!
Is network connected at all users of the domain.
There is a folder on the disk for which you need to:
- Prohibit deleting all subfolders inside it
- Prohibit creating new folders
- Allow creating new files
- Edit all files
Now the situation is this.
Can you tell me how to fine tune this?
Thank you in advance!

In your picture, the opposite is done, it Удаление
is allowed - prohibit (!), And Удаление подпапок и файлов
- allow or prohibit, do not leave it to the "automatic". Do the same for "objects and containers inside this container". Plus, in the upper field there is a choice of what to apply to, "to a folder", "to a folder and subfolders", if you are only interested in folders, but not files, then the second. Well, or only to subfolders, if for the "root" - other settings.
Prohibitions take precedence.
Lack of permission is not exactly a ban.
in pursuit: it is better never to set explicit bans, try to get by with the removal of permission.
