How to flash Xiaomi MI A3 on Manjaro via fastboot?
An important question for me, since everything works on Manjaro, except for the process of flashing the phone, I already asked the question on 4pda and in other places, but the solution was not found
. Arch, in particular - manjaro (of the ones I've tested), I'll clarify that it's the same on Arch Linux.
There is no problem on debian-like axes and on Windows, everything works correctly, but manjaro is easier to use, everything works except for fastboot, ubuntu, debian complicated and inconvenient for daily use, so I would like to solve the question specifically on manjaro,
for example, a simple command to change the fastboot slot set_active b or a and randomly I get one of three answers:
1 success
2 error FAILED (remote: 'unknown command') fastboot: error: Command failed
3 error fastboot: error: Device does not support slots
I typed the above command 50 times and always randomly one of three
or here again for an example: I
type fastboot flash system system.img and everything stops when “Sending ***********” whoever flashed it will understand, if at this moment you reboot the phone again into fastboot and immediately type the command again, the process will start, and if you wait 10 seconds, then everything covered with a copper basin
, I’ll immediately say that I tried different kernels, USB ports, changed wires just in case, with and without sudo .. but the result is still the same,
but fastboot devices always work correctly, shows id when the phone is connected
