How to fix the terminal in VSC?

Can't get terminal to work via vsc (Windows 7). There is no possibility to enter commands. Outside of vsc, both the string and the installed bash work. Setting the path to string/bash didn't solve the problem. Can anyone come across or know what the essence is - please help. Screenshots are attached
