How to fix scrolling to anchor link in Bootstrap 5?

Bootstrap 5 has a built-in scroll to anchor feature.
But it doesn't work quite right. Sometimes (every 7-8th click. Sometimes even 2 clicks in a row) will scroll by 40-50px, or stop half way.
Has anyone already encountered this? how to fix?
