How to fix mysqldump "illegal mix of collations (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) and (utf8_unicode_ci,COERCIBLE)" error?

When trying to create a dump, an error occurs:

mysqldump: Error: 'Illegal mix of collations (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) and (utf8_unicode_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '='' when trying to dump tablespaces

Actually the question is how to fix it, where and how to change "collations"?
