How to fix MODX snippet installation error?

When installing any snippet, it throws an error:
The target directory is either not a directory, or there is no write access to this directory: /usr/home/wizards/data/www/site.com.ua/core/packages/
Unable to transfer package simplesearch- 1.9.2-pl.transport.zip to /usr/home/wizards/data/www/site.com.ua/core/packages/.
permissions are open for writing (777) to this directory.
I contacted the hosting technical support: they say that the site is in a different directory, not in the one where the snippet is trying to install. Tell me where you can find this config and fix the path? Or what could be the problem?
