How to fix errors during South migration?

I am getting this error

django.db.utils.OperationalError: (1060, "Duplicate column name 'types_id'")

or that the table already exists, or some other duplicates. How can this be fixed? files with migration 15 pieces. Maybe it makes sense to drop the application tables and delete the migration files?
