How to fix copy/paste on Macbook?

Very very often copy/paste works incorrectly.

Algorithm of actions:
1. I select the text "Hello toaster!"
2. I press cmd + c 10 times
3. I go to the text editor, I press cmd + v
The character "^" is inserted
???

And this happens all the time. The symbol is inserted absolutely random. Sometimes I can insert numbers, sometimes some brackets, bars. I don't even know where he gets them from.
