How to fix "cannot find GOROOT directory" error?

go: cannot find GOROOT directory: C:\go. there was no GOROOT in the environment variable, and I, not understanding why it was needed, added it to the C:\users\work\go\src\GOROOT folder if the memory does not fail, it seemed so.

Set GOROOT to the full path to the installed files of the GO itself.
