How to find your application files on an Android device?

Good afternoon. Recently started developing applications for android. I ran into a problem with the database. Viewing information in the database is inconvenient. Every time you have to write queries to the database to see what is contained there, whether everything is preserved, etc. For this reason, I decided to get root rights on the device (Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 android 4.2.2) I install my application on the device. It appears there and works. But there is no application folder on the device. There is nothing along the way that IDEA writes. Am I actually doing something like this? Or is it impossible to view files even on a root device?
