How to find the ip address of an expired domain?

The bottom line is this: there is a url like www.domain-name.com/downloads ...
The problem is that the domain has expired and the address is not working. There is little hope that the server is still available by ip. Is there any way to get this information?

Try using whoishistory.ru (green form) to look at the history of the domain, what were the dns servers.
You can try using nslookup to request ip from these ns servers, if they have not yet removed it from themselves.
You can also google for "whois history / history" - you can directly find a service with ip addresses.
