How to find the git folder?

Hello.

The git folder is called Linux Torvalds, he used to live in Finland, now he lives somewhere in the USA.
PS Did you install it at all, for starters?
sudo apt-get install git or sudo yum install git, or depending on your system.

What is the git folder? What do you want to find in it?
Each repository has a .git folder with service files, look for it where you have tracked files, your project. Note that it is hidden.

If you think that in Linux, as in Windows, everything is lumped together, then this is a delusion. The files are sorted into destination directories.
dpkg -L gitand look for what you need.
