How to find the cause of suspicious Internet activity?

My sister has Windows 10 on her laptop. Once a week I receive a weekly report on activity on this laptop. Aroused suspicion of activities on the Internet, 75% of the websites visited by the user account for thetrafficstat.net (nearly 16,000 pages visited). Although there is nothing similar in the browser history. What application climbs on this resource and how to prevent it?

In theory, it looks like a Trojan got into one program. It can redirect to the site for various reasons, maybe for the sake of a banal DDOS. If no antivirus recognizes the Trojan, try booting from Kaspersky Rescue Disk.

Windows 10

It seems to me, or at least every second question about suspicious Internet activity, freezes, etc. refers to Windows 10? You answered your own question.
Ban the IP addresses of all Windows and Microsoft servers in the router, and sleep well.
