In addition to the banter - pictures like "find five differences."
Oh, and interesting infographics. The rest of the pictures are unlikely to be viewed for a long time, unless people want to see something on them, purposefully choose something (for example, desktop wallpaper), or they just like the picture (at least the same fap on the photo with naked boobs) . Usually, the pictures are viewed pretty quickly, unless you “hook” with something like that.
Give a picture on the html page, where javascript will hang and AJAX will tell the server every n-seconds that the user is still on the page.
I will also assume that stereo images. It's just not easy to get a quick look here.
By the way, I conducted a study on 10 categories of pictures, the first was pron, the second was humor.
In addition to porn banter: pictures with a riddle, comparison of homogeneous objects (from phones to people), with complex graphs or tables, with comments, with a wall of text, comics, with zoom and a high level of detail.
If we consider statistics on image requests, I believe Google and Yandex have one.
And so, I think, it depends on the interests of people.
The question is not entirely clear. Are you interested in what pictures the user “theoretically” views the longest? Or do you have a selection of 100 photos and you need to determine which of them are the most “catchy” to the viewers?
But here, too, it is very specific. I, as a photographer, by virtue of the developed skills, look at photos very quickly. If the photo catches - stop, a second pause, the photo was examined in more detail (possibly saved) and further. Also, sometimes I return to the viewed photo again.
