How to find out how much internet a particular site consumes in linux?

I downloaded something from the Internet and watched the stream at the same time. I have a speed of about 16 Mbps. That is, about a megabyte per second. .So, how do I find out exactly how much the stream is eating? Preferably through the console.

You have a slightly wrong approach to the problem.
Rather, you need to look not at how much someone consumes, but rather sort out priorities.
Ie, see let's say a 10 megabit channel. It downloads a torrent at a speed of 4 megabits, and a stream at a speed of 4 megabits, as a result, 8 megabits, and the stream is terribly slow.
That is, it is often not the channel width that is important, but which traffic passes first.

Try using the iftop console utility, a specialized utility that allows you to monitor traffic in real time.
