How to find old emails in Outlook 2010?

There is win 7, outlook 2010 is on it.
Archiving and other things are disabled, so that all letters are accessible (until 2014 and maybe later). But! Search by addressee finds letters before April somewhere + writes that there are a lot of them, click there to display everything else. Thus, we get more letters for March, but this is all for 2017. How can I fix the search so that it also shows older letters?
Looked through the web interface, there is the same problem.

It is not clear from the question (and tags) whether there is Exchange in the infrastructure, but based on the phrase:
It can be concluded that it exists.
Therefore, you need to determine how Outlook is configured,

  • If in cached mode - the local cache needs to be looked at (reindexed)
  • If online - you need to look at the Exchange database indexes (judging by the problem in OWA - a problem with indexes in the database) - contact your post administrator

i would start by clearing the indexes
