Who works - share your experience, what resources did you use to search? Is it possible to find at all?

Professional communities on LinkdeIn have sections with vacancies, incl. for remote work - join, search, contact potential employers.
oDesk, which has already been mentioned, is not a completely permanent job, or rather not a permanent one at all (I know what I am writing about, I have ~ 4000 hours there), but freelancing.
Elance.com It's
hard to start (when there are 0 reviews and no rating), you have to make rather complex orders for a penny (stage 1), but after receiving a few 5-star reviews, you can already fight for normal orders (stage 2). And over time, temporary customers develop into permanent ones (or constantly give small works, or a large long project). (stage 3 - a stable monthly income while working from home in shorts with a bottle of beer at the computer).
We at Toptal are always looking for experienced programmers with a strong command of English. There are projects for a variety of technologies. If interested, read the requirements and come. Our selection process

There are several options.
1) The least time-consuming.
You can try sending your CV out at talentboard.me/candidate
They do a mailing list for companies in the US and Europe.
2) Monitor job boards.
For example: https://weworkremotely.com/
or careers.stackoverflow.com/jobs/remote
But there is a lot of competition here.
3) You can write and send your resume to companies that practice remote work. Of the well-known ones, I remember this one: https://open.buffer.com/how-we-hire/
I think there are quite a few of them.
Really. Read my post in q&a, here people wrote a lot of useful things in the comments.
